This is a type of information therapy where specialised coherent light, is shone through a selection of precious gemstones. When each Gemlight shines on to the body, the specific qualities of that gem start to resonate with the body and with the subtle levels of mind and feeling. The most common experience people report is that they find themselves in a state of deep relaxation and that they feel nourished and balanced by the end of the session.
Gem Light Therapy is time-tested: Ayurveda has been revived and restored in its wholeness, and this therapy combines ancient Ayurvedic knowledge about gemstones with modern technology. Gem Light Therapy has been practised world-wide since 2007, with many thousands of treatments given.
A pilot research study published in 2020 demonstrated increased positive self-esteem and an enhanced sense of Healing, Wholeness and Bliss. A wide range of benefits are reported for mind and body, usually with immediate and lasting results. There are no known contra-indications, no preparation, and a deeply relaxing experience is most common.
A treatment usually lasts between 60-90 minutes. After a brief discussion with the client, a confidentiality agreement is signed. Initially, the client experiences each of the Gem Light beamers, shining on the palms of their hands, and the Practitioner selects the most appropriate ones. The client lies back on a comfortable couch, fully clothed, and then rests under the Gem Light Beamers for 20 minutes. This is followed by 20 minutes of rest and a brief review of experiences.
Gem Light Therapy supports people in many ways. The most common experience is a deep state of relaxation. Many people report experiencing relief from discomfort or pain after a Gem Light Therapy session. Experiences vary with each individual, sometimes depending on how well-rested or tired one is feeling on the day.
The consultation fee for a single session is £50. For a series of three sessions, the total fee is £135. The series of treatment is recommended. Payment can be by card, cash, cheque etc.
