I trained at LicAc College of Traditional Acupuncture, Leamington Spa, 1993-96.
Following qualification in 1996, I seized the opportunity of shadowing Professor JR Worsley during clinical consultations and went on to train with the Worsley Institute, joining the Masters Apprenticeship Program in Boston and Seattle. Post Graduate qualifications include basic teacher training at Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, USA (2016) and advanced teacher training at the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA), Louisville, Colorado, USA (2019).
I offer Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and I am a current member of the Worsley Institute Training UK faculty.
Prior to a career in acupuncture, I had a background in business and commerce through a twelve-year career in stockbroking and in web technology.
I was a member of the Great Britain world cup winning ladies modern pentathlon team in 1979, 1980 and 1981 and a member of the Scottish cross-country team in 1990. Although not involved in competitive sport since commencing an acupuncture career, I continue to have an interest in variety of different sports.
My interest in acupuncture was ignited having personally experienced and benefited from treatment. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to train at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, Royal Leamington Spa, with the internationally acclaimed Professor J.R.Worsley.
