I am a Member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and registered with the General Chiropractic Council
Registration No 01548
My qualifications include:
I was first introduced to McTimoney Chiropractic in the early 90’s when my daughter was treated by a family friend for birth trauma, with amazing results. I decided to give up my nursing career to retrain. I trained at the McTimoney Chiropractic College in Oxfordshire from 1993 – 1997.
Following my graduation I set up my practice in Hertfordshire where I have been for 25 years. Initially I was the only McTimoney Chiropractor in my area and throughout the 25 years I have been privileged to treat people from my local area, further afield from different counties, from different countries, Europe and beyond. I was also a Chiropractic Student Mentor for 12 of these years.
I have a special interest in treating women, pregnant women, babies, and children, and I have treated all age groups from a 4 day old baby, upwards to a 92 year old. I have been privileged to treat four generations of one family, and many families of three generations. Some of the children from these families have gone on to bring their own children for treatment.
My interest in treating children comes from my time as a children’s ITU nurse at Harefield Hospital in the 1980’s. At that time I became interested in Aromatherapy and once qualified I introduced the use of Aromatherapy in ITU for post-op children to aid their recovery. This set me firmly on my complementary therapy path.
Additional training in various Energy Medicine modalities has allowed me to use techniques which complement McTimoney Chiropractic, all of which harness the body’s innate intelligence for self healing and auto regulation to allow the body to adapt to its ever changing needs and situations.
If you are interested in receiving a McTimoney Chiropractic treatment, I am here to help.

“The philosophy of Chiropractic is founded upon the knowledge of the manner in which vital functions are performed by innate in health and disease. When the controlling intelligence is able to transmit mental impulses to all parts of the body, free and unobstructed, we have normal action which is health.”
