    Homeopathy
Homeopathy considers the way in which our physical, mental and emotional symptoms relate to each other. It then uses specially prepared highly diluted substances with the aim of triggering the body’s own healing mechanisms.

    What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy considers the way in which our physical, mental and emotional symptoms relate to each other.

It then uses specially prepared highly diluted substances with the aim of triggering the body’s own healing mechanisms.

Homeopathy is based on the principle of “like treats like” – that is, a substance which can cause symptoms when taken in large doses, can be used in small amounts to treat similar symptoms. This principle dates back to Hippocrates (460-377BC) but in its current form, homeopathy has been widely used worldwide for more than 200 years.

    Why choose Homeopathy?

We are all different and we can be deeply affected by our experiences in life.

Our physical, mental and emotional symptoms are frequently connected, one leading to another, sometimes almost indiscernibly over a period of time.

A mutual sharing and exploration of this bigger picture can help to recognise and understand the underlying cause and manage this.

Homeopathy can offer you a clearer understanding of your overall health and a safe way of treating your symptoms.

Homeopathic treatment has an excellent safety record and because homeopathic medicines are non-toxic, they can be used by babies, children and during pregnancy.

    What happens during a treatment?

The first consultation will last for 1 to 1/12 hours. This will involve talking about your symptoms and how they affect you.

    What is it good for?

Homeopathy, by its nature, can be used for a wide range of conditions – physical, mental or emotional.

It can be used in acute situations including, for example, grief or anxiety, and in chronic health conditions or for hormonal imbalances. Please just call to enquire if you are not sure.

    What is the cost?

The cost of the initial consultation is £80 (£50 for children). This typically lasts for 1 to 1/12 hours and the cost includes the prescription of a homeopathic remedy.

The cost of subsequent follow up consultations is £50 (£30 for children) and these typically last for ½ to 1 hour. We would usually suggest a follow up appointment after around 4-5 weeks. At that point, we will be able to agree on the need for and frequency of any further appointments.
